dearnford: fishing - spring fed trout lake

Washington Irving once said, "There is certainly something in fishing that tends to produce a gentleness of spirit, a pure serenity of mind," and he could well have just experienced a day's fishing at dearnford. We operate as a syndicate water and can offer the fisherman five separate ways to enjoy the fishing experience.

Fly fishing lessons and courses can easily be arranged with our AAPGAI qualified fly fishing and fly-casting instructor.
We also believe that everybody should be able to enjoy a day's fishing and as a result we have provided disabled access to the water's edge. We are proud to offer a wheely boat MKII which makes the lake fully accessible to disabled fishermen and women. There are disabled toilets in our on-site café.
