dearnford: weddings & functions by the water's edge

At dearnford we have organised and hosted many functions – from children's birthday parties to some of the most beautiful weddings imaginable. With our incomparable lake vista, dearnford is a very versatile, yet always beautiful venue.

We like to take a different approach to organising functions and understand that everybody's 'perfect day' is different. We simply charge a venue hire for the site and everything else is up to you!  We don't want to dictate how your day should be, therefore you have the freedom to choose who you want as your suppliers.  

Over the years we have built up an excellent database of hand picked local companies who can supply everything that you need, from marquee hire companies, caterers, bar and linen hire to florists, taxi's and brilliant cake makers!  We would be deighted to share this with you if you would like us to.  If you want to use your own contacts and suppliers then that's fine too!  

Dearnford is truly a photographer's dream. The sweeping parkland, woodland tracks and irresistible reflections across the water all create a stunning backdrop for your day. 

As evening descends, we illuminate the lake and islands to create a magical and romantic atmosphere.
